How it works…

Hand-Joined Family Furniture is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to crafting and delivering heirloom-quality furniture to children in need. Funded entirely by tax-deductible donations from a diverse network of supporters, every dollar we receive goes directly toward designing, building, and delivering these cherished pieces. Additionally, with surplus funds we maintain a fully equipped workshop where others can learn the art of furniture making, ensuring that the skills and spirit of giving continue to grow.

By collaborating with community partners—including charities, churches, and personal referrals—we identify families in need of furniture to help create a more organized and stress-free home environment for their children. Each family receives a custom-built piece, designed specifically for them, as a heartfelt, no-strings-attached gift. Our hope is that these handcrafted furnishings will be passed down through generations, carrying with them a legacy of care and craftsmanship.

Beyond furniture delivery, Hand-Joined Family Furniture fosters hands-on learning through our community workshop. Open to anyone eager to learn, the space is stocked with tools, materials, and dedicated instruction. Every piece built in our workshop is then gifted to another family in need. In this way, we empower individuals with valuable skills while reinforcing the profound joy of creating something meaningful with their own hands—both for themselves and for others.
